this is what I bring-also popcorn. I try for lower cal foods bc there is a lot of mindless eating and takes awhile to eat three apples or a big bag of popcorn

I have little glad "tupperware" things like this...

http://www.glad.com/food-storage/containers/glad-to-go-lunch/

I put hummus, nutella, ranch, and bean dip in these containers.

My kids dip pretzels or veggies (okay I dip veggies).

I also find these good for blueberries.

I make "chipotle" wraps with rice, cheese and left over meat.

How about rice paper rolls? If you have kids, it is a fun activity to prepare them together as well.

Any suggestions on what to pack for our road trip? (3 hours, and then I like to keep some things in the hotel fridge) Anything filling and non-messy would be great. I bake a pizza the night before and refrigerate it. Cold pizza is our favorite road snack. We also bring lots of PBJ sandwiches.
Thanks!
