CleverDog in Silver Spring. Off E-W highway and easy to get to from Bethesda. but kind of in an industrial area so maybe hard to find the first time! The owner, Donna, is an award-winning show groomer. Ask for her and talk about what you want -- they will accommodate you.

I've taken my two dogs there for years and they do a great job. They have boarding, too.

Where did you go in Bethesda?!!? That's horrible!

I've posted on here before about Chichie's. She's in Georgetown and not convenient from Bethesda and also way more expensive than most, but I would trust her with my dog's life.

I like Happy Grooming in Arlington.

Custom Canines in McLean is also good?

I'm looking for one, also. We don't groom her like a Bichon, just a general short clipping. Arlington area best!

Does anyone with a bichon have a groomer that they love? Need to find a new option after our bichon just came home with a horrendous cut that is going to take months to grow out since they practically shaved his entire coat (in the dead of winter!!!). This groomer clearly had no sense of how a bichon should be trimmed and I really need to find a new option. I would have said something but spouse was the one who did pickup.
