Sauté with onion and toss with some kind of spice mix (Mediterranean, Italian). Also, add to pasta sauce. Also can grate Parmesan cheese over the cooked veggies. Or mix with some good balsamic.

I like pasta with peas and prosciutto.

Some frozen veggies would probably work in quesadillas as well.

I put frozen kale and spinach in lots of things--scrambled eggs, fried rice, soup. Frozen veggies are great in curries and soup, or with pasta sauce.

For the adult version, make sure to undercook those microwaved veggies a little. Heat up some olive oil, add a crushed garlic clove, cook until fragrant, and then throw in your adult veggies. Works well with green beans, broccoli, cauliflower. For frozen peas, you can add fresh mint and maybe some shallots. For frozen carrots, heat up oil again and maybe sprinkle with maple syrup and coarse grain mustard for a tangy glaze. You can always sprinkle in some soy sauce or parmesan on your veggies.

I use them in soups, veggie chili. Only a few that taste good alone, in my opinion.

We rely on the frozen bagged veggies that we steam in the microwave for veggies for the kids, cause they like it all plain. I'd like to start using those veggies for the adults dinner as well..but need to doctor/flavor them up a bit.

What "recipes" (im using that loosely!) do you use for frozen veggies -- either in the microwave or cooked any other way ?
