As far as I know there has been no such change but I just checked the website and as you say it now has local school/lottery. I'd wait until tomorrow as they should be updating the page for the new school year. I would find it odd though if they didn't notify any immersion parents that this change was going to happen and they never mentioned it at any immersion task force meeting.

Has there been a change at RCF giving in bounds kids priority? This school used to be countywide. MCPS immersion website states that Burnt Mills, RCF and Rolling Terrace all go to K and 1st at the local school; lottery. Does this mean that the lottery (practically) is not an option anymore?
