Remember The term Super Bowl is a trademark of the NFL. All us plebes have to call it the "Big Game"

OP, I have no interest in football or the Super Bowl. We have friends that always host a party and I'm just not into it. Sunday nights are also my night to unwind from very busy weekends so I'm never excited to give up that time to watch a game I don't like and eat bad food. In recent years my DH and kids have gone without me.

I hate it this year with the Ravens in it.

I used to go to an annual Superbowl party. A group of us would hang out in the dining room and chat and socialize and I would head into the family room with the big screen TV for the commercials.

Even since that friend moved out of town, it's just another Sunday night (although one we usually DON'T plan to go out to eat on). I don't hate it...I just don't care.

I love it! I can't wait until Sunday to drink my cider (hate beer) and eat my wings!

It might be a good time to run errands or get out and about if everyone else is at home or a bar watching it.

I don't like football also, but hating the Super Bowl, IMHO, is a bit much.

I always have. I could never sit and watch it and not feel bored. Just another reason to over eat and be lethargic. As if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New years were not enough. Now we must have another day set aside for gorging ourselves on crappy food! LOL! Just kidding, I know there are a lot of football fans out there, and I can totally understand why you would watch it. I also have a problem with women who pretend to be all into football. They yell and cheer and drink cheap beer with their men. But if you ask them a question about the game they can't tell you what really just happened. Total pet peeve.
