Thanks! OP here. Im glad to hear someone else had a simlar experience, I couldn't find anything similar online. I'm no longer nursing, first period was right after I stopped.

OP, I BF'd for 6 months and it took almost a full year for my cycles to return normally - and "normal" was a new normal after baby. I wouldn't flip out about pregnancy especially if you've been using BC. Your body is likely still adjusting.

Mine was really irregular too (while nursing though). I had one in February, then June, then September, and they have been getting closer together. The last three have been pretty close to a month between (now no longer nursing, not sure if they are related).

Try temping. It's going to give you some better sense of your cycle.

If you're still nursing, it can be irregular. Nursing can affect ovulation.

My LMP started December 18 - first period since having DS in June. I've taken two pregnancy test this week and gotten two negatives. Prior to getting pregnant I was on BCP for 5 years, I got pregnant the first month we tried so I don't really know what my "normal" cycle looks like. Anyone had their period come back postpartum and then disappear?
