Thanks for the recs. What makes it a weird part of the city? Location sounded good to me and the hotel got good reviews (and I got a good price) but I can change if there is something better. We wanted to be close to stuff, especially the subway, but not like right on top of Times Square... Can you rec another neighborhood and/or hotel?
