I'm sure that will be the next trend. Cupcakes are already past their prime, and frozen yogurt (which was popular in the 80s also) is also reaching its peak.

I also think cupcakes look more impressive so it is easier to get people to spend.

Cookies had their day. Remember Mrs. Field's? Brownies were popular in NY a few years ago - Fat Witch was the place to go. Now it's time for cupcakes and tart frozen yogurt.

Cupcakes are everywhere but finding a place dedicated to the freshly baked brownie or cookie is hard. Is there no demand for such a place?
