What is your problem PP? I see nothing wrong with my original post still. Everyone on here wishes OP well but I'm not going to sit here and be reprimanded if i dont promise a positive pregnancy test to everyone.

No Im not worried OP will have success. But I do like accurate info, not someone blowing smoke in my direction.

Well, thank you for worrying about too much positive thinking floating around. I hate that when it happens. Good thing you set the OP straight. Even during your UNSUCCESSFUL cycles you had constipation. Got it.

Wow - great idea. Thank you. Do you have one smoothie a day?

Yes, my transfer was Saturday and I have the exact problem. I read about this online yesterday and my conclusion is that it seems to be common enough that our doctors would mention it if it were an issue. I think it's from the drugs for the retrieval, and lying around for 24 hours after the transfer certainly didn't help. Good luck to you

Unnecessary. What, are you worried that the OP will get her hopes up?

Thanks, PPs. I'll definitely take some Colace. Straining or pushing won't affect implantation will it? What's happening now is that I have the urge to go and then sit on the toilet and nothing happens unless I push. It's miserable!!!

Yes, big time. Had it after every transfer and the last one that was positive had it really bad around 5-6 weeks. Definitely eats lots of fiber but I took stool softener and some fiber pills too, which helped.

Sadly, this is a side effect of the progesterone. It slows everything down. Keep doing what you are doing. You can also take some Colace. That will help.

Given that constipation can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms, this could be a good sign... fingers crossed for you, OP!

I having pretty bad constipation after a 5 day transfer despite drinking lots of water and consuming high fiber food. Not sure what else to do at this point and wonder if anyone else has dealt with this. Also, worried that the strain - and I'm trying not to, but occasionally I get the urge to go and then nothing happens - will affect implantion. Is this possible?

Ugh.
