That is the worst advice I think I have ever heard.

Thanks! I was thinking that maybe I am not being patient enough with the fish oil. I guess I had expected a miracle in 3 days. It actually looks a bit better in the last day, which is encouraging since is still so dry and cold. I'm a very oily person and just today was the first time this winter I had to put on moisturizer, so I think the fish oil might be working for the dog, just not as fast as I hoped.

I know this is silly, but I was so embarrassed for her. With all that dandruff on her black fur, she looks terrible.

We had this. The vet started her on fish oil capsules and I also rub in an anti-itch spray.

My poor black dog looks like it has snowed on her back Despite feeding her very high quality food (corn, grain, soy free) and just recently adding Fish oil, her dandruff had exploded this week with the cold.

I just started the fish oil this weekend, I was hoping it would have kicked in by now.

Her allergies and dry skin seem to be making her hair fall out something terrible.

I'm new to these doggie allergies, anyone have tips? We do the benadryl daily as well.
