I did a large brunch last fall and found a recipe online to make a big pan of scrambled eggs in the oven. They turned out really well. I don't remember exactly which recipe I used, there are several if you google it.

I also recommend the frozen biscuits--either pillsbury or the Sam's Club brand, they're both really good.

I also served pumpkin bread, ham and fruit (kids will eat a ton of strawberries). I'm sure there are some other items that I'm forgetting.

And mimosas are key. Sparkling cider for the kids.

I’ve done a lot of brunches with toddlers. Biggest hit has been the mini hotdogs wrapped in croissants pre-made appetizers (or you can make your own) (and the adults love them too); tater tots; donut holes; and cantaloupe and strawberries.
For the adults – any egg casserole; a hash brown casserole; fruit; lots of pastries. Salmon and bagels work well (but the toaster becomes a bottleneck for those who insist on toasted bagels). Deviled eggs are good too, but are time consuming.
Good luck.

My DD's 1st birthday I did quiche (made ahead), green salad, & fruit salad. You could also do a breakfast casserole of some kind. But quiche is nice because you can make a few different ones for different tastes.

Brunch is my favorite meal to make! Quiche, baked french toast that you can mostly prepare the night before, strawberries, boiled eggs, bacon (can also be made ahead of time and heated up that morning), melon, blueberries, and hashbrowns. Yum!

Fruit salad, mini muffins--store bought or homemade depending on how confident you feel.

I would have cheese sticks on hand for the toddlers.

Bagel spread. Smoked salmon and all the trimmings for the adults, flavored cream cheeses for the kiddos. If there are vegans, have some hummus spread and some tomato slices.

And good coffee.

I'm not good at entertaining, but we're planning a first birthday party for our son. I'm having trouble thinking of what to serve for brunch or lunch--any ideas would be appreciated. My main requirements are that it's easy to make and that it's likely to be a crowd-pleaser. Oh, and I also need a vegetarian option. I've made quiche before for guests, and they seem to like it, so maybe I'll go for that?

Thanks!
