i love the limited for suits, but they might feel flimsyish to you still. personally i like the "flimsy" feeling because it's more movable and comfortable. i feel like you might be looking for old-lady style suits w/ heavier shoulder pads.

I've had good luck with Limited Suits. If you buy from the Black collection, the blacks will always match, year after year. And if you get a Limited Card, pant hemming is free, which is a huge bonus to me.

I buy suit separates at Talbots outlet. Yes, they aren't the most fashion forward but they are at a good price and fairly good quality (much better than JCrew and Ann Taylor). I also have to appear in court and I find they are conservative enough for that too.

Please recommend your brand and store. I have a budget of $250. I've had some luck with Jones New York but not always a great selection. Ann Taylor wrinkles like I've just slept in it. I would like something with a thick material - a lot of suits feel flimsy to me. For context - I'm in early 30s, lawyer who has to go to Court a lot. TIA!
