Dr. Joel Taubin at 19th and M is pretty good. He will see you quickly and will give any referral that you need. A warning though - his office is pretty disorganized but he'll do what you need him to do.

Though, I listed my OB as a referral even though he didn't specifically refer me to CFA, where I went for treatment.

You shouldn't have to. Just call you PCP and explain the situation and provide them with the name of the doctor etc. that you would like to see at Shady Grove and ask them to submit the referral. I did this recently (in fact before my insurance became effective so that the referral was already received).

Just swiched to mdipa and would like to get a referral to see my shady grove re. Do i schedule an apointment with an obgyn or a pcp to get a referral?
