I agree with pp. Allow yourself a lot of time w/o having to stress over turning into Cinderalla with your car. I once had to leave and missed out on an interview at a career fair when I had to pick up my DD from school. I never could get in touch with them again. So, make sure to maximize your opportunities ... sometimes "opportunity does knock just once". Good luck! Hope you land something you like.

Why limit yourself? Rent it for the day. You never know what might happen!

I plan to attend my first job fair next week, and I'll be renting a Zipcar to get there. I'm in the process of reserving the car and I'm trying to figure out how much time I should give myself. How long does it usually take to talk to employers (and do interviews if any of them are interested) in your experience? I was planning to give myself 3 1/2 hours, and that would include the time it takes to get the car at the Metro and drive to the fair (Google maps said it would be 15 mins with traffic).
