So Vanilla Natural Bryer's ice cream has 14 grams of sugar and skim millk has 6 grams of sugar. I don't think the extra sugar will matter if your child is not obese. Also if you can do a shake - later you may be able to add milk to decrease the sugar. Then you can add fruit (banana, strawberry, blueberry) - to hide the nutrition.

I get him to eat grapes and blueberries by having his 13 year old say I can catch more in my mouth in a row than you. (I know tricky.)

I don't do ice cream or pudding, but I give lots of choices. One of mine currently prefers leftovers or spaghetti for breakfast. I hate sending them to school without food and my kids are always hungry in the morning.

Popular options at my house include granny smith apple with PB, last nights chicken, turkey roll ups, string cheese, carrots and ranch. My kids don't like things like waffles, pancakes, cereal so I just stick with snack type options. My youngest goes without breakfast 70 percent of the time, I don't worry about it too much because his lunch period is at 10:34 anyway. I agree some ppl just can't stomach breakfast.

Op, what about smoothies? You could make a healthy smoothie with yogurt, juice, and fruit. If you use frozen fruit it will be like a shake. And what about eggs? Warm hard boiled eggs and toast with lots of butter has always been a comforting breakfast for me.

Personally, I eat anything for breakfast. It's often my biggest meal of the day. I'll eat leftovers from dinner the night before. I'm hungriest in the morning.

My kids eat normal breakfast. DD also seems to be hungriest in the morning and, while she's a picky eater, she loves breakfast foods. We do pancakes or whole grain waffles and fresh berries usually, or yogurt and granola with berries, or cereal with berries. I worry about DD getting enough protein (won't eat eggs) so maybe I'll start giving her chicken in the morning too!

We do the frozen waffles or French toast from Trader Joes. They get a shot of whipped cream and a drizzle of syrup. Also get some fruit. They have a cup of milk.

I was never a big breakfast eater as a kid. I hated cereal and eggs. I often had leftovers or a sandwich. But no ice cream. Only on your birthday can you get ice cream for breakfast.

06:59 again - I would not give ice cream or pudding as breakfast options. Too much sugar.

Some kids and adults just can't stomach eating first thing in the morning and do better with a late breakfast or mid morning snack.

We have yogurt, cereal, bagels, toast, and waffles as regular options. Occasionally we'll have eggs or muffins. One kid needs to eat as soon as he wakes up, the other needs to wait a while.

Leftover pasta from the night before

I don't know what to do anymore. Kids are picky- they dislike like milk and orange juice. I don't like the idea about giving them a supplement calcium on top of a vitamin- I have served chicken tenders for breakfast. Anyone let their kid have no breakfast?

Glad they are at school all day or else I would be nuts concerning myself about what they eat.
