Yes, that is the way the process unfolds.

What's a terrorist country?

The PP could be referring to a nation on the U.S. State Dpartment's official list of state sponsors of terrorism. Or s/he might be referring to any nation where anti-U.S. terrorists are prevalent.

I didn't have a follow up but my clearance is S, not TS.

Yes, normal. He had a few strange questions for me, like why I had made a minor change to my name, Anne to Anna, but that was all.

yes, it's normal. Also depending on how high your clearance is, they may continue to interview you -- in other words, you may get a preliminary clearance to start work and then the process continues. A year after I started my job, the investigator came back to me with more questions in order to complete my clearance.

Are you a new US citizen? Depending on the nature of your job, I've heard that they might do a little more investigation on a new US citizen from a terrorist country.

Yes, it is not a big deal.... unless you have something to hide or werent truthful. I had follow ups because they couldnt get in contact with one of my references.

The investigator did not do any follow up with me after talking to my references, but that doesn't mean it is abnormal.

I am in the process of getting a clearance. Already talked to my investigator, and he talked to my references. He just called to schedule a time to do some follow-up questions with me. Is this normal?
