Johns Hopkins is one of the best schools on the planet, the very definition of elite, so this is one of the dumbest things I've read here yet - which is saying something.
and of course UVA and W*M are elite too. UMCP very very good school now, but not elite.

Really? I'd put Johns Hopkins, UVA, and William and Mary all in the "elite" category. They're all in the top 35 on UNSWR, which puts them in the top 2% of 4 year non-profit schools nationwide.
You didn't mention DC, but I'd put Georgetown in that category too.
