Taste of Saigon in Rockville Town Center is nice if you like Vietnamese. There's a party garage about 100 ft from the restaurant that always seems to have spaces and the restaurant will validate your parking stub. They have a nice bar and a pretty nice menu.

I really like Passage to India. Vapiano also in Bethesda has large tables but I don't know if they take reservations. Also can be loud.

In Kensington, there are a couple of new places that I've never been to--K Town Bistro and Two Pear. You could see if they could accommodate a large group.

I liked Spice Xing in Rockville as well.

I am also considering Chef Geoff's but the service is awful (from personal experience and Yelp reviews.)

Easy parking is definitely a consideration. Maybe Tower Oaks? It's a little out of the way, but do-able.

More thoughts? Thanks everyone for the input.

The bar is always packed at Matchbox. I would look elsewhere if you can't get a reservation.

I bet Black Market would set up a big table for you, if you pick an off-prime hour. (Or at least a weeknight.)

Tower Oaks is really pretty good. They have a great bar and I think Clyde's food is better than Parkers or the American Tap Room. And there's parking.

Isn't there a Jaleo up there? Share tapas, drink sangria, perfect for a big group.

I go out monthly for mom's night out, all over metro area. In Besthesda, I agree with a pp that parking is a huge issue. But we went to Redwood and it was great, aside from parking.

In Chevy Chase, Lia's was very accommodating, as was Clyde's. And the Indian place over the Metro - I think it's an Indique something (offshoot of Indique Heights in Cleveland Park).

Agree with this, it's big and has lots of parking. And takes reservations.

Seasons 52 in Kensington (except that part of 20895 insists on calling themselves North Bethesda, ha,ha

The west side of Rockville Pike is not 20895 or Kensington; it's 20852 and Rockville or North Bethesda depending on your pretension level.

OP, I would not recommend Ri-Ra if you have vegetarians in your group.

Bethesda is pretty much out for me these days due to the ridiculous parking situation, but how about Tako Grille on Wisconsin north of East-West Highway(two MoCo lots with plenty of space nearby), or Tower Oaks Lodge (Clydes) in Rockville. Seasons 52 in Kensington (except that part of 20895 insists on calling themselves North Bethesda, ha,ha) across from White Flint Mall is okay too.

There will be about 10-15 in attendance. I am interested in restaurants in Rockville, Bethesda, or Kensington. Some vegetarian options would be great...a big bar area or able to accommodate large table would be ideal.

Would Chef Geoff's be a good option? Or, maybe even something more laid back like Ri Ra in Bethesda?
