Work hard, be kind, on time and pump up my resume or annual reviews with training (out of pocket if needed). I also learn from my mistakes and don't try to act like a know it all.

Always be professional. Be proactive, but don't kiss-ass. Keep things in perspective. Don't gossip or play office politics. Work hard and show an interest in all aspects of the business.

I think of my colleagues as teammates - no competition here. Some of my closest friends are current or former colleagues. Sorry, OP, that does not sound like a fun place to work.
