1 (1/4 ounce) package yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
1 cup water
2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Combine yeast and warm water, stir until disolved
Add everything, mix. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Roll out, bake at 450 until brown. Easy easy. Always comes out awesome!

We like Harris Teeter's dough balls (found in the deli section).

It is super easy to make your own as well. I use the Gourmet recipe from their big yellow cookbook.

Vace?

Yes, that is what I meant! Thanks!

Love the Tyler Florence pizza dough recipe from foodnetwork.com. I use regular flour though, the 00 flour is harder for me to find.

Almost all grocery stores sell bags of it in the bakery section now.

Jim Lahey's no-knead pizza recipe is the best!

You need to plan it the previous day because of the small quantity of yeast and long rise that is common in artisanal bread baking. However, it is really simple and turns out very well especially if you have a pizza stone.

Whole Foods. I also use Mario Batoli's recipe often. Super easy.

We used to make our own dough all the time. It's fun. I know they sell pre-made dough at Trader Joe's.

Mix 3 cups of flour, 1 packet of yeast, a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of sugar in a food processor. With the motor on, add 1.5 cups of cold water and process until it forms a ball. Knead for a couple of minutes. Cover and let rise for a couple of hours.

The recipe in the original Joy of Cooking book is simply awesome. Easy, too. Just allow yourself about two hours for it to rise.

Preferably in DC or Silver Spring area.
I also wouldn't mind if you have some easy pizza dough recipes to share.
I just got a pizza stone for Christmas and I'd love to use it.

Thanks!
