I was also at SGF. Did my first FET consult trying for baby #2 in November (when #1 was a little over a year old) with a plan to do our first FET after the new year. We had to redo all of the infectious disease bloodwork at Labcorp, sign all of the consent forms, and I had to do another mock embryo transfer. Had our first FET in late January. Hopefully you won't need to do this, but we ended up doing multiple back-to-back FETs, and there is about a 7-8 week span between transfers. If I were in your shoes, I would probably go ahead and make the appointment for February or March. The last couple of times I have scheduled a follow up consult at SGF it has taken over a month to get an apppointment, and then you'll need to do whatever retesting they want you to do. If you want to do a transfer in June, then you will start on meds 3 or 4 weeks before the transfer date. Good luck!

I did a saline sono which showed something. Then I had an operative hysteroscopy to clear out some tissue blocking uterus. Leftover from pregnancy? Cobwebs? Probably had bloodwork at some point too. It was ~3 months from consult with RE to discuss #2 until we started our FET.

If your original nurse is still with SG, why not shoot her an email or give her a call?

If you don't get much advice here, try the Resolve board. It's more of a National thing, but those folks are experts.

We were very lucky to have had a successful IVF in 2010 (delivered in 2011). We ended up with 2 frozen embryos and are planning to do an FET later this year, but we're not ready to do the transfer until June or so. What tests will they do and how long does it usually take from the first consult until transfer for an FET? Just trying to figure out if I should make an appointment soon or if I still have some time before I need to go in. (SGF if that matters)
