We did it too. Kids are so resilient. I had a harder time with it than dd did. By the time I picked her up that first day, she had made friends and was laughing...having a great time.

We did, and it was fine, great really. The first preschool was a disaster and the second was much, much better.

We just did for our preK child. The decision was difficult since she will go to public k next year so that meant three schools in two years, but she is fairly adaptable and has done fine. She only went two months to the first place this year.

We did after an exodus of fine caregivers at our old pre-school. The adjustment was hard, but boy, after three months I could see the difference. My daughter spoke better; was challenged in different ways; and had gone on more field trips than in the past 2 years at the old place. We missed our friends from the old place, and tried to keep in touch, but...the kids move on quickly.

We changed daycares during a summer. But it's year-round, so the timing really wasn't relevant. It was easy, there was an adjustment but no more than when he changed classrooms at the same daycare. We're much happier with the new place, and so, so glad we changed.

It was a very hard decision to make at the time. Once we did, we were all so much happier, and we never looked back. The right fit will make such a difference for your little one
