How old will your DC be this summer? There are a lot fewer camp options for the younger set. You may want to try the Washington Parent Magazine site, it has a camp guide.

I'd start with the 2012 roundup thread in the summer camps forum. You might also try to coordinate with other parents in your child's school. In our case, several of my parent-friends at our neighborhood school were sending kids to the local DPR camp, so we were very comfortable signing up for our child.

Subject pretty much says it all. I am new to this as DS is in a P3 program. When do I need to start looking and where do I go to find the information? TIA.
