She should be good -- played Eponine in the West End.

It is on record that Lincoln reslly had an even higher pitched voice than Daniel Day-Lewis used in the movie.

Can't wait to see Les Mis as everyone who has seen it said it was great. I saw Lincoln and was underwhelmed. I just expected Lincoln's voice to be deeper so the entire movie, it bothered me. It was also way too long!

It was a treat to watch Daniel Day Lewis' acting in Lincoln. That said, the moments where everyone broke out into speeches seemed pretty contrived. And what was with the 1/2 hour of adds for really violent video games, at the SS Majestic, before this thoughtful movie on history and war and peace even started?

I adored it! They did give up some of the musical talent in favor of visual drama, no doubt about it. I disagree with PP's comments on Hugh Jackman, though. I thought Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway were amazing. I was blown away by Anne Hathaway's Fantine! Russell Crowe did a great job acting as Javert but yeah - the singing was clearly not up to par. That said, I was surprised he sang that well . . . but he was clearly outshined in that department.

I thought Marius was totally miscast! His voice was horrid, he sounded like a nasal goat. They absolutely should have found someone, anyone, else for that part.

I thought the Thenardier's were fabulous! Sasha Baren Cohen and Helena Bohnam Carter stole the show.

Whoops that wasn't Jonathan Groff, it was the guy from Next to Normal--Aaron Tveit. I loved Next to Normal and Spring Awakening at the same time and was thrown off by the period dress . He was great though.

Saw Les Mis and loved it! thought it was well done and the singing was good. I'm sure it's going to win a lot of awards due to all the A list actors and actresses.
