That's just getting out of Annandale.
Why aren't you taking Braddock out. Much much much faster in the morning.

I am hoping for a 40 to 45 minute commute. I would leave for work at about 7:45am and leave work at 5pm. Am I dreaming?
My husband leaves for work at 7:40 am to commute to Federal Center, SW and he gets to his office by 8:30 am. He drives.
It's truly amazing what a difference 5 minutes can make to an overall commute. It would seem like leaving at 7:45am would not make that much difference but it really can. Also, does he actually get into his own office very single day at 8:30 am or does he get to a parking space at 8:30? Again, it really can make a difference because if you don't add in those few minutes it takes to get from a parking spot to the office you are still really underestimating.

Anonymous wrote:Hello All,
My husband and I are considering buying a home in Annandale (the neighborhood outside of the Beltway that goes to Woodson High School). I'm a little bit nervous about the commute since I work in Metro Center. It seems that I can either take a bus to the Pentagon and transfer to Metro Center or try to find a vanpool. Does anyone have experience with either? How fast are the vanpools?
Thanks!
J
