We use the baby bath and fit our big 3yr old and our 20mth old in there. Less water to Waste and they love it

Same as other posters-- around 6.5 months... as soon as he could reliably sit up

Same ages here, but no shower.

We still use it at 20 months - easy to fill, no slipping and he still gets clean

DD is still using the baby bath at 14 months and I have to say I like it. I feel like she is more secure and of course we waste a lot less water.

I used the baby bath in the big tub until he was almost two. Less water, he felt more secure. The model we had was larger than most baby baths, so it worked for us.

We used it with our first until something like 18 months--I know, we were crazy! It was just so convenient and saved so much water, and he didn't care.

Second is still using the baby bath at 10 months.

No, my son started in the regular bath right around 6 months because he was sitting up very well on his own by then. I mean, you're right there anyway, so it's not a big deal.

DS is 6 mos and can now sit up. In the baby bath his feet touch the end but he likes kicking the end and making a splashing sound. I am thinking of putting him in the regular bath and seeing if he likes it. I would obviously be right there in case he tips over but is he too young still?
