I am here at GWL at this very second, and can see 4 pregnant women in my view. None of them is going down a big slide, but a lot of 4 year olds are too short anyway for the big slides. Still, there are tons of fun things for that age group to do, both in the waterpark and in the hotel itself. Seize the day.

Will you have another adult with you? If not, I definitely wouldn't go.

Yeah, there's not really a "money's worth" for me when I go with my toddler.

OP, I would do it, no question, if it seems like a fun weekend. I've done it with a toddler (3) and we had a blast - but we didn't exactly hit the huge waterslides, because I was there with a 3-year old after all. So it kind of didn't make a difference when I was pregnant. The little person slides aren't exactly risky. The toddler area is really more of an indoor spraypark. And if your 4 year old is really adventurous, your DH can always take DC on the bigger slides.

Can the 4yo go on a good number of slides without an adult?

The problem with water slides is the entrance and exit to the slide, where high pressure water (or a hard landing) can force the icky community water into places it shouldn't go, potentially causing infection. If another adult is with you and can do the slides, you should be fine on everything else.

I would. There is no reason you can't be in the park, and most rides appropriate for four year olds are not a problem for healthy pregnant women. Worst case, you have to miss out on the bigger slides, but DC still has a good time. Pregnancy is limiting enough without unnecessarily avoiding activities like this. Are you going with another adult who can help? That would help.

If you skip the slides there is not much left. You may not want to be climbing the big nets on the play structure all day either. The slides have signage discouraging pregnant women from riding, and it's on their website.

There is no problem being in the water while pregnant, but the water slides can be a problem. I worked at a waterpark when I was a teenager, and you would be surprised how many people flip over on a trip down a waterslide, often landing hard. I wouldn't want to do that on a pregant belly.

Don't the big liability signs at each ride prohibit pregnant women from using the slide? Or maybe they just have a CYA warning. I don't remember exactly.

I'd like to take a 4 yo to Great Wilf Lodge when I am six months pregnant. Will I be too limited by the park, such as from going down a water slide with him?
