If the school is a 501(3)(c) then donations are tax deductible.

We are contemplating making our annual fund contribution before Dec 31. I've been assuming this is a tax deductible contribution. Any reason to doubt this? The school states on its website that it is a 501(3)(c), but it does not specify that contributions are tax deductible.
