OP here and I couldn't agree more. Neither of us would ever do anything. I don't want to ruin my marriage and as I originally stated he is kind and decent, so if he was inclined to make a move he wouldn't anyway. I am more concerned about the emotional ramifications and I don't want to start comparing DH to this guy.

Stay away from any actual "hanging out" outside of work with no other co-workers and wait a while.....he's just a guy and I'm sure he has many faults like everyone else. If you love your husband, your feelings will fade and you won't even understand why you liked him in the first place.

I wish that were the case, but I don't think so. There are frequent invites to lunch and after work drinks, hence the need to avoid them. There is chemistry; that is part of my concern.

Has worked and lived overseas; speaks a foreign language fluently. He is single BTW, so PP can relax that it's not her DH.

I would never cheat and I still love my DH but this guy is handsome, intelligent, well-educated, has travelled the world and I find him to be charming, kind and decent. If I was still single and didn't have children I would pursue him in a heartbeat. I find myself thinking about him more the more I get to know him.
