OP, I don't have dogs anymore; I was taking down the sticker art in my office (where one dog used to hang out with me) and the wall literally shows a dirt sillouette! Yikes! We just recently let out housecleaner go because we don't have the dogs -- the level of dirt and dust is amazingly less now that it's just kids and adults.

Because I'm here for Christmas and there is a dog hair floating in my wine. That's why. Good enough reason?

Leave. Chances are they have or will start a thread about the bitch that came to dinner if though their dog doesn't even like her.

Oh, but OP sounds like she is trying ever-so-desperately to climb that ladder.

Non-shedding dog owner here (so I respect the pet love). It's disgusting. Love your dog, hair and all, but vacuum daily and certainly before guests come over.

How would you feel if I clipped my nails on the sofa and left them their for you to sit on?

If you have a lab, you can clean 24 x 7 and there will still be hair in many places. Speaks of having a lab that sheds not to having poor cleaning habits.

The fact that you don't understand this about retrievers, and even use a phrase such as "speaks of poor cleaning" habits speaks of you being a lonely and cold person probably from a lower social class.

Lint rollers, vacuum cleaners and a special tool to remove the bug up people's asses.

Pretty much.

A little dog hair is such a small price to pay for their companionship. A lint roller is your friend.

My dog isn't allowed on the furniture and doesn't shed much anyway, but you seem bitchy and judgmental. How can you live like that?
