Yet my daughter tells me that several of the back doors are unlocked to allow kids to come in and out of the portables between classes or to use the bathroom. I guess I was naïve and thought the teacher opened the door to let the kids back into the building at the end of class. Am I the only one who thinks this is an enormous safety concern?
In my experience the backdoors are locked. You need to swipe a badge in order to enter the building. Teachers all have their own badge, and students are given a badge and walk in pairs to go to the restroom.
I think you need to talk to the school about having the same thing.
