Gift card to Finish Line? They seem to have every sneaker

consider a shoe store gift card for nicer tennis shoes- these can really add up and can makee a difference for a kids. Old Navy gift card. I pod shuffle and itunes card.

I'm trying to think of ideas, but having trouble. I would say definitely no to the xbox 360 because it will be hard for them to afford games, most likely.

My first thought was some kind of tablet, but those are still expensive.

Kindle e-reader and a gift card to load it? The older versions of the plain black and white reader are about $70 I think.

Our family is sponsoring a family to help provide Christmas gifts. There are three boys in the family- the younger ones we have covered, but need one or two gifts for a 14 year old boy. His dream gift was listed as an xbox 360, but don't think we can swing that as well as gifts for two others and full sets of clothing for all three.

The 14 year old girl suggestions were all great, but not appropriate. Anything similar for boys?

Given the family situation I do not think this child has an ipod and am unsure about any electronics other than a TV.

Suggestions up to about $75 in value appreciated.
