Cheer bloomers/briefs come in SO many colors and patterns these days...they are very similar to compression shorts.

this time of year she should wear leggings or tights. It is COLD outside!

In warmer weather, I'd advise boy shorts or whatever cheerleaders wear (cheer shorts?). As for whether she should match them to the skirt color or to her skin color, I'd go with skirt color.

how old is your DD? at 13 I would say she needs to be wearing boy shorts or ganny panties. at 17 you let it go because next year she will be in college and you will be hoping she wears underwear at all.

My DD occasionally wears short skirts to school. They are pretty short, and even though I am conservative, I am ok with it because they are not micro minis, and a lot of girls wear them. I assumed that my daughter wore a "normal" pair of underwear with them. But turns out that she wears a thong, to avoid panty lines. I think that is completely inappropriate. Meaning that with a short skirt, if you are not careful with how you sit, people can see up your skirt. I would much rather have her wear underwear (at least!) or, preferably, a short pair of spandex shorts. Soooo..... what do you think is appropriate? Am I overreacting? Can you recommend some nice underwear that does not produce visible panty lines? She is a reasonable teen, and I think if I found her some nice (pretty) underwear that truly did not show through the skirt she would wear them. Thanks!
