Of course she's heard the music. Everyone's heard it. And she mentioned in passing once seeing if she could get tickets to a show, so I know she likes it.
So now I'm thinking maybe for the bachelorette party. I'm going to see the musician friend over the holidays and will run it past him. He's super fun, I bet he would come up with some hilarious way for his band (or part of the band) to be there. I'm thinking they could come in like they're strippers (my friend HATES strippers, and has told us we can do anything we want for her hen party as long as there are no strippers), and then instead of taking their clothes off, give her a little serenade.
Hee! This might be even better...

What you could do, which would be absolutely lovely, is check with your band friend to see if he's into it, and if so, float the offer to your wedding friend, making it clear that there would be no hard feelings if she says no. She can do it as a surprise for the guests if she wants. But a surprise like that for the bride on her wedding day? In NO universe is that a good idea.

Your friend has not even booked live music for her wedding, who says she wants it? If you have a popular band show up out of nowhere it will totally steal her thunder and frankly, put a whole lot of attention on YOU. Icky.
