I do not have a child at Burnt Mills, so I don't know the specifics. I recommend you attend the orientations that each school holds. Are you in the school's boundary? I have no idea if it's true or not, but I met a parent at a playground this past fall whose child attends Burnt Mills (non-immersion class). He said the school was successful in limiting the enrollment to within boundary and to move from partial to full immersion.

I don't know about last year but two years ago we were around #15 on the waitlist and were offered a spot. We chose to decline.

Anyone know how many kindergarten classes they will have next year for the immersion program? Any idea how far down the waitlist they got this past year (that is to say, what are the prospects of actually getting in)?
