Latin and YY are both fine and do not compete in any way.

In a single year, Yu Ying added about $9m in liabilities.

Yu Ying overcharges everyone for aftercare and lunches. That and short-changing kids on music classes and pretending the Chinese immersion model costs more. Yu Ying had a big grant to cover Mandarin resources and banked the profit they made on parents. (The teaching model they use doesn't cost any more than a non-immersion school, when you consider faculty costs.)

Money in the bank meant money for a downpayment on a building, which they renovated.

I think Latin has a 50-year deal and does not compete with YY.

Latin, National Cathedral, Phillips Collection, and Galludet all bring in $100,000. Only a couple of grantees come in above these institutions.

Thanks for sharing this. Our child is having an amazing (now 2nd year of) high school experience at Latin at the current campus. I know this is high school search time for a lot of families. If anyone has any questions feel free to post.
