20:24 here. Yes, Burl Ives is wonderful. Reminds me of my childhood. So cozy.

Jingle Bells by Frank Sinatra.
Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms
Cool Yule by Louis Armstrong

I like Michael Buble Christmas songs.

Other old ones by Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, and Burl Ives (from the Rudolph claymation shows in the 60s).

Thanks, everyone. Actually I'm hoping for some NON-classical but I'll check these out too!

Mix in a a few classics from the Kings College, Cambridge, boys choir. Once in Royal David's City, for example.

There was a CD set I used to have a few years ago (I've since lost it )

It was called "Now that's what I call Christmas", and I think I got it at Target--on those end cap displays where you can hear samples of the CDs by pressing the buttons...

It had all the classic Christmas songs

+1. Just so relaxing and peaceful. Vince Guaraldi is amazing. Always puts me in the spirit in a gentle way.

I also love Frank Sinatra's Christmas classics, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald. Judy Garland's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" just slays me. It's so sad, but wonderful.

Can you tell I like jazz/standards?

That sounds like a good selection 15:43. Is it mostly classical? I can't stand to hear a single 'nother Nutcracker excerpt.

I want to put one together this year. DH loves mostly classical Christmas music, think Handel's Messiah. I don't like totally trendy, modern takes but would like to put a list together that includes classics like Bing Crosby and others.

What are your favorites that would be pretty background music on Christmas morning or while baking cookies?

Thanks!
