Agreed. It's not what people will eat necessarily, it's what they'll take. For us - I'd take a piece for my toddler and he'd eat half. If DH was there he'd take two, and I might too depending on time of day, whether I'd had lunch etc. DH would probably end up eating one of mine, his own two, and maybe half our son's depending on how destroyed it was after DS finished with it. That'd be 5 for us.
