I might be slightly biased, but that's like asking "where can i find a good pile of trash". I find Chinese food disgusting wherever it is made. Degrees of disgusting. Sorry, that's just how I feel about it.

TemptAsian on the other side of Little River from Landmark Mall. It's Sechuan though, so the menu is different than most places (if you ask for the Sechuan menu, that is!).

I like Asian Wok Cafe. Good prices/value and the food is hot and fresh. Standard fare.

I'm the pp that recommended Hong Kong Bistro. We also like Oriental Star but it is further from us.

Hong Kong Bistro in Bradlee Center is our usual place.

No good chinese in alexandria. We like peking gourmet in baileys crossroads but it is not easy to get to for us.

I'm chinese and used to live in nyc. Fortune, full kee or marks duck house are all authentic. Not much in Alexandria unless you want greasy takeout places.

I haven't lived in NYC, so it may be that no place down here will live up to that standard. East side or west side of Alexandria?

We moved from NYC, and I just want a decent Chinese meal. Nothing fancy at all.. just some chicken and broccoli, fried rice, lo mein- the kind of place that was on every corner in Manhattan. All of the Chinese places we have tried here, we have hated. How hard is it to find a decent Chinese food place? HELP!
