BCC Coop Nursery School is fabulous. The teachers have decades of experience and are very loving and devoted. My son went for 2 years. I was in the school with the teachers co-oping several dozen times over the years and learned so much from those teachers. I'm so impressed with them. They love my son so much and still hug him up when they see him. I heard that one family was criticizing BCC Coop on this site after their son was asked to withdraw (and it was the 3rd nursery school their son had been kicked out of, so....). Everyone I know in the neighborhoods around BCC loves BCC Coop Nursery School.

I was a parent of three year-olds and four year-olds at the school in 2010-2012 as well as 1999-2004. If you live in Chevy Chase West, you can't walk down the block without running into a family who has used the school either recently or in the past. The school and the two teachers are beloved and incredibly respected, ask anyone in the neighborhood. So sad that this woman/author did not follow the boy into the school and see how the teacher calmed him down and how he happily ate snack, joined his classmates at circle, and stayed for lunch bunch which ended some three hours later. I'm familiar with Edgemoor Wonders, CCPC, CCBC, and St. Columba's. You won't find two woman who are as knowledgeable as they are and who not only love the kids, but are committed to helping new unsure parents. Even though Somerset Elementary School (where many of the enrolled children eventually attend) has some excellent teachers, you won't find the same connection as you did with these two.

cooperative preschools rock!

I have been at BCC Nursery School for 4 years now and this energetic little co-op is the most loving and supportive environment a parent can ask for for his or her child. The teachers at this school have a way of creating a magical learning environment for the children and care deeply about the development of each individual child. Dozens of people I know who have had children go through this school say the exact same thing, and it is all due to the teachers there. These teachers have children coming back from high school and even college to visit them! I am so grateful my child has been able to mature in these young formative years at BCC.

i visiting this place a few yrs back. It was fine, but I preferred the other option we had at the time. Go take a tour for your self if you want to. They were very friendly.

There's almost no mention of this school in the archives. Anyone have any feedback, good or bad?
