Call the restaurant and ask. If it's within walking distance of the KC, then they probably have enough other diners doing this that they know exactly what will work.

Why don't you take a cab from the restautant?

My husband and are are going to see a show at the Kennedy center in a couple of weeks. It is a Saturday show, 7:30pm. We are eating at dish + drinks nearby and will be walking (arg) from there to KC. Question: I have made our reservations for dinner for 5:30. Is this early enough for a relaxing dinner, walking, settle into seats and be on time, without feeling rushed? Or should I change res for 5? Thanks!
