Saw a post awhile ago about a camp that will be started in silver spring. Check back in September or October. Good Luck

Look at Congressional Camp in VA. It is fun, but very structured. The counselors are very well vetted and trained (despite being young). My ADHD son does very well there.

JCC in Rockville. My kids haven't done it but friends rave about it. There is an option to get an aide (although other posters have said this can be difficult as there are limited spots with an aide).

We used our county's adaptive recreation camp. It was awesome, they provide transportation if you need it, and it was cheap. Have you tried your county?

I can't believe I'm thinking about camp already.

My dd's main challenge is social skills/interaction. She has difficulty with large amounts of unstructured/free time and with large (20+) groups of kids. She also takes a while to warm up to people, so one long session is much better than several one week sessions where different people come and go. Bonus if there are swimming lessons.

Any suggestions?
