Yes, this works on a Kindle. It's a 48 hours for the rental or something like that, so you don't keep the movie for ever.

We have a tablet (not an ipad) that I would love to be able to play some sort of movie/show on for the drive for Thanksgiving. Does anyone know how to do this when wi-fi is not available? Is there some way to download a movie at home to play during the drive?

We have a dvd player in my van for trips but will be taking dh's pick up truck on this trip so we can take a truck load of winter coats to Hurricane Sandy victims.
