Yup, needed to go to doc to have it drained and now have antibiotics. Paronychia is what is is. Hoping it gets better now...

Google "paronychia." If that's what your finger looks like, you need an urgent care or ER to drain it.

My finger near the nail has been red and swollen since Saturday. Probably no worse since this am but no better. Do I need to go to the doctor? Been soaking in hot water...
