+1. I'm a pretty hard core grammar freak, and I think improper use of capitalization is much more egregious. The appropriate time to use capital or lowercase letters is something you should have learned in second grade. It probably comes up every single day of your life. The "graduated high school" thing is a random pet peeve that most people would not even notice.

This. Plus, people rarely speak in grammatically correct ways. And of all their verbal grammar mistakes, this one also barely rates. The old "I'm gonna get me a Coke" is worse.

Yes, it is incorrect to say "I graduated high school," but in the big scheme of life's problems and things that irritate me, it is low down.

Thank you!!!! I agree. Nothing grates on me more than hearing "graduated high school/college etc..it sounds so trashy and uneducated. Is it really so hard to add "from"?
