Redfin.com much more user friendly, updated, and informative.

I love it too, but then again i haven't really tried other sites. i started using it because everyone on DCUM seems to link to it when discussing specific listings. I love how you can search sales all the way back to 2005 using keywords - do the other sites let you do that? Also, you can look up agents and see their listing and buying history, their average DOM, etc. And the spreadsheet view makes it so easy to compare things like tax, DOM/P, etc. If other sites like Redfin don't offer these features, I think I'd be willing to subscribe.

I love that site. It's the easiest format I've found for viewing multiple listings and comparing.

I use it all the time. As long as you set up a free account, and you log in when you search, you can search sold data, etc. So far, I don't see any indication that it's going subscriber only.

If Franklymls goes subscriber-only, it will be no big loss. I used to visit Franklymls a lot, until they made some changes to their site. They asked for feedback on the changes, then it seemed that they were argumentative to anyone who didn't complement the changes or said they were having problems. I like Sawbuck.

I love their site - it's just so easy to use. I don't like Redfin as well.

Oh-- I love Franklymls....been going there for the past 4 years. bummer.

That's not true. When we were buying recently, we uses FranklyMLS for their FPP which estimates what the home would sell for "today". It takes into account information on the market, how long tge home has been listed and comps.

I also love their site, but it's not entirely unique, and access wouldn't be a USP sufficient for me to become a client. Hope they've done their research.

It's a great site but I wouldn't use them as my realtor and I don't know anyone who has. In fact, I think I've only seen their for sale sign outside of a house once or twice. Maybe they're getting frustrated that people are signed up on their site but don't use them.

Switch to Redfin.
