I have the "Halo" which takes a 100 Watt (incandescent) bulb. If you had something more like 240 Watts in mind, this is obviously less.

I hate ceiling fans unless I have a humongous house like over 5,000 sq ft

Usually the design of these means that the lighting function of the fan sucks. I have a very large bedroom and am wanting to use the fan as a primary source of light. But wondering if that means my only option is those fugly ones that have like four separate shades and four 60 watt bulbs shooting out in every direction.
