I went through multiple Droid Rezound models with this error. It was forcing encryption of the SD card for some reason. I did have the phone configured to pull my mail via exchange but our server policies did not require SD card encryption. I said fine, encrypted the card, then promptly forgot the password, especially since my mail policy did require a password for my phone. At the store, they tried my card in another phone, error. They tried another card in my phone, error. Gave me a new phone. A month later, happened again. I just made them give me another brand of phone for fear that an HTC would do the same thing, although my Incredible never had that problem, and I haven't had a problem with my Razr MAXX.

Can you email or text the Halloween pics? Back up your phone data on your computer?

Mine did this and it was corrupted. $10 card later and it was good. I backed up the phone on my laptop before changing them out, so didn't lose anything.

"Damaged SD card" and it wants me to reformat. I'll lose my Halloween pics that I haven't downloaded yet.

What's the actual error message?

My old LG smartphone did this all the time but it was kind of a crummy phone so I didn't think much of it. Had to get a new card twice (and lost pictures and videos. [Started saving them to computer more often so as not to lose them anymore.] Then got a new Droid last month and having the same problem again. Sometimes if I turn off the phone and restart the error goes away. But this is strange and my husband has 2 cell phones and this never happens to him, or anyone else I’ve mentioned it to. Thoughts? Thanks!
