If you like Whole Foods, you probably won't like the grocery store ones. Their frosting is waaaaaay too sweet. When I go to an event with the big sheet cake, half the time I cant eat the icing as my throat closes up over the sugar content.

I've bought all of my daughter's birthday cakes (sheet cakes or cupcakes, depending on the occasion) at Safeway. We always get chocolate with white buttercream frosting, and the kids and adults all seem to like it. Cheap, too - our "Brave" cake this year was $40 for a half sheet cake.

I'm looking for the best place to buy sheetcake. I usually like Whole Food's, but I am a little tired of them.
