What colors/materials are in your kitchen?

I would paint the kitchen side something that fits with the kitchen decor and the other side something that fits the sun room decor...is this a trick question?

A bright interior door is a trend I've been seeing - on powder rooms or pantrys. Go with whatever works with your color scheme. It's just paint and can be switched back if need be!

I like yellow, but a creamier yellow vs. a brighter one.

I'm with PP. Red sounds great!

I like red. Not sure about yellow. That's a lot of yellow.

Go for it -- what have you got to lose? You can always repaint.

We have a door in our kitchen that used to lead to the back yard, but now leads to a sunroom. During the summer I take the door off its hinges to allow for open access between the rooms, but as the cold weather sets in, I put the door back. The door is a traditional sturdy interior/exterior door with panes of glass at the top. I'm considering painting it a bright color (tomato red. yellow?) just to add some playfulness. Any thoughts?
